Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na literární analýzu zobrazení české periferie – vesnice a maloměsta – v románech Cestou špendlíků nebo jehel (2021) Zuzany Říhové, Destrukce (2021) Stanislava Bilera a Kontinuita parku (2021) Petra Šestáka. Práce se zabývá identifikací motivů, symbolů a jazykových prostředků, které slouží k vytváření specifické rurální atmosféry. Cílem je zjistit, jak autoři prostřednictvím literárních prostředků reprezentují a interpretují periferní prostředí ve svých dílech, a hledat mezi nimi společné prvky. Popisuje, jak autoři pracují s místem a prostředím ve svých textech a jakým způsobem přispívají k literárnímu zpracování tématu periferie.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the literary analysis of the depiction of the Czech periphery – villages and small towns – in the novels Through Pins or Needles (2021) by Zuzana Říhová, Destruction (2021) by Stanislav Biler and Continuity of the Park (2021) by Petr Šesták. The thesis deals with the identification of motifs, symbols and linguistic devices that function to create a specific rural atmosphere. The aim is to examine how the authors represent and interpret the peripheral environment in their works through literary devices and to look for common elements between them. It describes how authors work with the setting and environment in their texts and how they contribute to the literary treatment of the theme of the periphery.
