Didactic Games in Mathematics Lessons at the Primary Education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje didaktickým hrám v hodině matematiky na 1. stupni základní školy, se záměrem na učitele a jeho využití hry v hodině matematiky. Cílem diplomové práce je nejen zmapovat využívaní didaktických her v hodině matematiky na 1. stupni základní školy, ale také zjistit četnost využití didaktických her v matematice ve vztahu k délce pedagogické praxe učitelů. V teoretické části se věnujeme rámcovému vzdělávacímu programu základního vzdělávání, výukovým metodám a samotnému definování a klasifikaci didaktických her, v závěru teoretické části jsou shrnuty poznatky ze zahraničních výzkumů a studií. Výzkumný vzorek tvořilo 176 učitelů prvního stupně vyučujících matematiku, kteří odpověděli na dotazníkové šetření. Výsledkem zkoumaní je, že učitelé vnímají didaktické hry pozitivně a hodnotí je za efektivní metodu, kterou často aplikují při výuce matematiky.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with didactic games in the mathematics classes at the first level of primary school, with a focus on the teacher and his/her use of games during the mathematics classes. The aim of this thesis is not only to map the use of didactic games in the mathematics class at the first level of primary school but also to find out how frequently didactic games in the mathematics classes are used in relation to the length of professional experience of the teachers. In the theoretical part, the framework of the teaching program in primary education, teaching methods, the definition itself, and the classification of the didactic games are discussed, the findings of the foreign research and studies are summarized in the conclusion. The research sample consisted of 176 mathematics teachers working at the first-level primary school level who responded to a survey. The result of the research indicates that teachers perceive didactic games positively and rate them as an effective method which they often employ during the mathematics classes.
