Tato práce zaměřuje na irské pověsti a jejich literární převyprávění současnými irskými autory, Deirdre Sullivanovou a Brianem O’Sullivanem. Předmětem zkoumání jsou jejich knihy Savage Her Reply a Fionn: Defence of Ráth Bláthma, v pořadí. Abstract:
This thesis deals with retellings of old Irish mythological tales by contemporary Irish authors, Deirdre Sullivan and Brian O’Sullivan. The subject of analysis are their novels Savage Her Reply and Fionn: Defence of Ráth Bláthma, respectively.
