The comparison of chosen aspects of employment policies in the Czech Republic and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zmapování vybraných aspektů pracovní politiky v České republice a ve Vietnamské socialistické republice a poukázat na hlavní odlišnosti obou zkoumaných zemí. V první části práce je popsán vývoj vztahů mezi Českou republikou a Vietnamskou socialistickou republikou, uvedeny jsou vybrané aspekty pracovní politiky ČR a VSR. Druhá část práce se zaměřuje na srovnání vybraných parametrů z pracovních politik. Ke srovnání byla využita komparační analýza. Data ke zpracování analýzy byla čerpána ze zákoníků práce obou zemí a z dat statistických úřadů obou zemí. Z analýzy byly zjištěny hlavní odlišnosti. Výsledek této práce by mohl posloužit potenciálnímu zaměstnavateli, aby lépe pochopil vietnamskou menšinu. Dále také může pomoci nově příchozím migrantům, aby si udělali lepší představu, co je zde čeká a jaké rozdíly můžou očekávat. V neposlední řadě mohou práci využít Vietnamci žijící v České republice, kteří nemají dostatečný přehled o aktuální situaci ve sféře pracovní politiky ve Vietnamské socialistické republice.

Abstract:

The objective of the thesis is to map selected aspects of employment policies in the Czech Republic and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and to point out the main differences of both examined countries. In the first part of the thesis, is the description of development of relationships between the Czech Republic and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the selected aspects of employment policies of the Czech Republic and Socialist Republic of Vietnam are mentioned. The second part of the thesis is focused on the comparison of chosen parameters of employment policies. The method chosen to compare them is the comparative analysis. Data used to process the analysis were gathered from the Labour Code of both countries and from the data of statistical offices of both countries. The analysis shown the main differences. The result of this thesis could be used by potential employer to better understand the Vietnamese minority. Furthermore, it can help the coming migrants to have a better idea of what to expect and which differences they can expect. Last but not least this thesis can be used by Vietnamese living in the Czech Republic, who don’t have sufficient knowledge about the current situation in the area of employment policies in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
