Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku etnicity a pěstounské péče. Cílem je zjistit, jaký je vztah etnicity dítěte a důvodů jeho svěření do pěstounské péče z pohledu sociálních pracovníků. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část je zaměřená na definování pojmů etnicita, pěstounská péče a sociální pracovník. Praktická část vychází ze smíšeného dvoufázového výzkumu. Kvantitativní výzkum byl tvořen pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Kvalitativní výzkum pomocí rozhovorů se sociálními pracovníky. Součástí práce je také interpretace výsledků, z nichž vyplývá, že podle sociálních pracovníků neexistuje významný vztah mezi etnicitou dítěte a důvody jeho svěření do pěstounské péče.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of ethnicity and foster care. The goal is to determine the relationship between a child's ethnicity and the reasons for their placement in foster care from the perspective of social workers. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is focused on defining the concepts of ethnicity, foster care, and a social worker. The practical part is based on a mixed method two-phased research. Quantitative research was conducted using a questionnaire survey. Qualitative research involved interviews with social workers. The thesis also includes the interpretation of the results which indicates, according to social workers, that there is no significant relationship between a child's ethnicity and the reasons for their placement in foster care.
