Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je identifikovat nejčastější Židovské stereotypy, jejich charakteristické vlastnosti a rysy. Účelem je odhalit jejich původ a vývoj během různých etap. Hlavním záměrem je analyzovat americké filmy, objevit v nich zmiňované stereotypy a zhodnotit jejich výskyt. Předmětem práce je také vypátrat, zda zmiňované stereotypy vzešly od samotných Židů či jsou filmy natočeny ne-Židovskými autory, s účelem zesměšnění jejich chování, zvyků a vzezření a šíření antisemitských myšlenek.

Abstract:

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to identify the most common Jewish stereotypes, their characteristic features and attributes. The aim is to discover their origin and their development throughout different phases. The main focus is to analyze the American movies, discover the mentioned stereotypes in the movies and evaluate the occurrence of them. The object is also to find out if the appeared stereotypes originate from the Jews themselves or if the movies are filmed by non-Jewish authors with the purpose to ridicule their behaviour, customs and appearance, and to spread the anti-Semitic thoughts.
