Development of European banking 2000-2008

Abstract:

In the first chapter of this Bachelor work is briefly described the history of banking selected countries in Europe, which is significantly involved in the development of the European banking since the mid-19th century until the end of 90-eighties of last century. In the next chapter is described in more detail the emergence of the European Union and the Euro-system, the mere implementation among the countries of Europe, the contribution of the European Community to the countries included in the EU and its contempt for a further expansion of the country.At the end of this chapter is a brief overview of interesting banking mergers and acquisitions for the period 2002-2008. Home final chapter deals with the impact of the current financial crisis in the banking sector, the U.S. and Europe, each country approach to solving this global problem by means of state subsidies. For the existing trends in the banking sector today, such as the issue of standardization of banking, the current globalization of financial markets and the supply of new technological advances banking millennium focuses final part of last chapter.

Abstract:

V prvej kapitole tejto bakalárskej práce je stručné opísaná história bankovníctva vybraných krajín Európy, ktoré sa významne podieľali na vývoji európskeho bankovníctva od polovice 19.storočia do konca 90-tych rokov minulého storočia. V nasledujúcej kapitole je podrobnejšie opísaný vznik Európskej únie a Eurosystému, jeho samotná implementácia medzi krajinami Európy, prínos tohto európskeho spoločenstva pre krajiny začlenené do EU a jeho potupne rozširovanie sa o ďalšie krajiny. V závere tejto kapitoly je stručný prehľad zaujímavých bankových fúzií a akvizícií za obdobie 2002-2008. Úvod záverečnej kapitoly sa zaoberám dopadom súčasnej finančnej krízy na bankový sektor USA a Európy, prístup jednotlivých krajín k riešeniu tohto globálneho problému pomocou finančných dotácií štátu. Na existujúce trendy v bankovom sektore súčasnej doby, akými sú problematika štandardizácie bankovníctva, existujúca globalizácia finančných trhov a prísun nových technologických pokrokov bankovníctva nového tisícročia je zameraná záverečná časť poslednej kapitoly.
