The impact of population aging on the social system of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice stárnutí populace a jeho vlivu na sociální, převážně důchodový systém České republiky. V první části popisuje věkovou strukturu obyvatel a konkrétní ukazatele populačního vývoje, na které má stárnutí populace vliv. Dále obsahuje rešerši oblasti sociálního zabezpečení ČR, konkrétně pak důchodového systému. Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat vliv stárnutí populace na důchodový systém ČR v letech 2000-2021. Model obsahuje regresní analýzu, kde je důchodový systém zastoupen příjmy a výdaji. Ty jsou dále predikovány do roku 2026. Výstupem práce jsou reformní doporučení a provedená analýza.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of population aging and its impact on the social, mainly pension system of the Czech Republic. The first part describes the age structure of the population and specific indicators of population development that are affected by population aging. Thesis also contains a search in the field of social security in the Czech Republic, specifically the pension system. The main goal of the work is to analyse the impact of population aging on the pension system of the Czech Republic between the years 2000-2021. The model contains a regression analysis where the pension system is represented by income and expenditure. These are further predicted until 2026. The output of the work are reform recommendations and analysis.
