Statistics in pre-mathematical education

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje tématu statistika v předmatematické výchově v mateřské škole. V práci je popsána předmatematická výchova a jedna z metod aplikace této výchovy s názvem Genetická metoda. Dále je rozepsáno téma samotné statistiky. Práce také poukazuje na děti předškolního věku a na jejich psychosomatický vývoj a vývoj předmatematických dovedností. Na první část navazuje sborník aktivit, ve kterém je popsáno dvacet činností rozvíjející prvky statistiky. Tyto činnosti jsou voleny se zřetelem na získané informace z teoretického poznání. Sborník může sloužit učitelům a učitelkám mateřských škol, jako inspirace. V poslední části práce je pomocí metody pozorování a testové metody zjišťováno, jaké mají děti předškolního věku dovednosti z oblasti statistiky a s jakou správností dovedou provést statistiku.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of statistics in pre-mathematical education in kindergarten. The thesis describes pre-mathematical education and one of the methods of application of this education called Genetic method. The topic of statistics itself is also described. The work also points to preschool children and their psychosomatic development and the development of pre-mathematical skills. The first part is followed by a collection of activities, which describes twenty activities developing elements of statistics. These activities are chosen with regard to the information obtained from theoretical knowledge. The collection can serve as an inspiration for kindergarten teachers. In the last part of the work, the method of observation and test method is used to find out what preschool children have skills in the field of statistics and with what accuracy they can perform statistics.
