Analysis of costs, monetization and profitability of selected commodities in the agricultural enterprise

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma „Analýza nákladovosti, zpeněžování a rentability vybraných komodit v zemědělském podniku“ je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. První část je věnována literární rešerši, která popisuje důležité pojmy související s ekonomikou zkoumaného podniku, jako je například rentabilita, výnosy, náklady nebo kalkulace nákladů v zemědělství. V druhé – praktické části práce, jsou sledovány celkové provozní a finanční náklady a výnosy vybraného podniku v letech 2021 a 2022, ze kterých je poté vypočtena výsledná rentabilita celkového kapitálu, tržeb a nákladů. Následně jsou zkoumány jednotlivé plodiny, konkrétně pšenice ozimá, kukuřice na zrno a řepka ozimá, ke kterým je vytvořena kalkulace nákladů potřebná k analýze rentability pěstování těchto komodit. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit efektivnost pěstování vybraných plodin v podniku a porovnat výsledné hodnoty s průměrnými výsledky všech zemědělských podniků, které v ČR pěstovaly stejné plodiny.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis, titled "Analysis of costs, monetization and profitability of selected commodities in the agricultural enterprise," is divided into two main parts. The first part focuses on literature research, defining key economic terms relevant to the researched enterprise, such as profitability, revenue, costs, and cost calculation in agriculture. The second, practical part of the work analyzes the total operating and financial costs and revenues of the selected company for 2021 and 2022. Based on this data, the resulting profitability of total capital, sales, and costs is examined. Finally, the thesis focuses on individual crops: winter wheat, corn for grain, and winter rape. For these crops, cost calculations are created to analyze the profitability of growing them within the company. The main goal of the work is to determine the effectiveness of growing these selected crops and compare the resulting profitability with the average results of all agricultural companies in the Czech Republic that cultivate the same crops.
