Diplomová práce se zabývá českou výjimkou z Listiny základních práv EU, kterou uplatňuje Polsko a Spojené království a která byla České republice přislíbena během ratifikace Lisabonské smlouvy. Práce zkoumá kontext ochrany lidských práv v EU i v České republice, okolnosti a důvody přijetí výjimky, následně analyzuje samotný text. The thesis deals with the Czech exemption to the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU, which applies to Poland and the United Kingdom and which was promised to the Czech Republic during the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty.
