History and mythology of the Celts in the Czech lands
Abstract:
Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá zmapováním etnogeneze Keltů na českém území a jejich dalším vývojem, zejména v období halštatském a laténském, až do jejich zániku zapříčiněnému římskou nadvládou. Současně čtenáře seznamuje také s keltskou společností a hierarchií, v době jejího rozkvětu. Samostatná a nejrozsáhlejší část je věnována keltské mytologii.
Abstract:
Presented bachelor thesis deals with the mapping of ethnogenesis of the Celts on Czech territory and their further development, especially during the Hallstatt and La Tene period, until their extinction caused by Roman rule. At the same time also acquaints readers with Celtic society and hierarchy, during its expansion. Separate and largest section is devoted to Celtic mythology.
