Business etiquette in intercultural comparisons with a focus on German-speaking surroundings

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je srovnání interkulturních rozdílů v obchodní etiketě. V teoretické části byl definován kulturní a komunikační kontext. Je zde nastíněno rozdělení kulturních dimenzí podle nejvýznamnějších autorů zabývající se výzkumem v této oblasti. Tato práce se věnuje aspektům neverbální komunikace, jejímu rozdělení a projevům, které můžeme využit při obchodním jednání. Cílem praktické části bylo přiblížení teoretických poznatků a jejich porovnání v praxi. Jde o komparaci kulturních a komunikačních specifik při obchodních jednáních z pohledu obou kultur tj. české kultury a kultury německy hovořících zemí.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to compare the intercultural differences in business etiquette. In the theoretical part was defined cultural and communication context. There outlined the distribution of cultural dimensions most authors involved in research in this area. This work addresses aspects of nonverbal communication, its distribution and expressions that can be used in business negotiations. The practical part was to approach the theoretical knowledge and practical comparison. It is a comparison of cultural and communication specifics in trade negotiations from the perspective of both cultures ie. The Czech culture and culture of German-speaking countries.
