Diplomová práce The Discourse Marker ‛well’ and Its Role in Spoken English se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí. V části teoretické se zabývá problematikou tzv. diskurzního ukazatele well a mluveného projevu v různých anglických gramatikách a odborných článcích. Abstract:
The diploma thesis The Discourse Marker ‛well’ and Its Role in Spoken English consists of two main parts. The theoretical part covers the issue of spoken discourse and the DM well according to different English grammar books and articles. The practical part focuses on the analysis of the DM well in four different speech event categories – lecture, tour, colloquium and students presentation.
