Youth crime prevention - leisure time influence

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku vzniku delikventního a kriminálního chování u dětí a mladistvých a na možnosti prevence vzniku takového chování. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, kompilační a empirické. V kompilační části jsou popsána teoretická východiska spojená s problematikou práce, zejména jsou rozebrány rizikové faktory podporující vznik nežádoucího chování u dětí a mladistvých. Dále jsou uvedeny poznatky z oblasti preventivních činností, které jsou v současné době realizovány v rámci prevence kriminality mládeže. Významná část teorie je věnována tzv. nespecifické primární prevenci, tj. strukturování volného času dětí v organizacích volného času s cílem předcházet vzniku problémového chování. V empirické části práce je proveden praktický výzkum. Kvantitativní metodou, pomocí dotazníkového šetření byl zjišťován skutkový stav preventivního působení volnočasových aktivit uskutečňovaných ve sportovních oddílech. Výzkum byl zaměřen na existenci rizikových faktorů (spouštěčů) delikventního chování, které se mohou vyskytovat v těchto aktivitách. Provedeným výzkumem bylo zjištěno, že vrstevnické skupiny utvářené v rámci těchto aktivit mohou být prostředím, ve kterém se vyskytují obdobná rizika, jako v jiných kolektivech dětí a mladistvých. Největší rizika byla zjištěna v experimentech s marihuanou, požíváním alkoholu a nedostatečné výchovné působení ze strany trenérů.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the issue of delinquent and criminal behavior in children and adolescents and the possibilities of prevention of such behavior. The thesis is divided into two parts, compilation part and empirical part. The compilation part describes the theoretical background combined with labor issues, in particular, are discussed in the risk factors supporting the formation of undesirable behavior in children and adolescents. The following are the findings from the preventive activities that are currently being implemented in the prevention of juvenile delinquency. A significant part is devoted to the so-called theory unspecific primary prevention, ie. structuring of free time for children in the organization of free time in order to prevent problem behavior. In the empirical part of the thesis is carried out practical research. Quantitative method, using a questionnaire, was investigated facts preventive action undertaken leisure activities in sports clubs. The research was focused on the existence of risk factors (triggers), delinquent behavior, which may be present in such activities. Carried out the research, it was found that peer groups shaped in the context of these activities can be a place in which there are similar risks as in other collectives of children and adolescents. The greatest risk was found in experiments with marijuana, alcohol and lack of educational activities on the part of coaches.
