Tato diplomová práce se zabývá komparací první a druhé generace sikhů ve Velké Británii. Mapuje geografické a historické souvislosti vývoje státu Pandžáb, jednotlivé kapitoly se dále věnují popisu sikhské náboženské nauky a životního stylu sikhů a jejich migrace do Velké Británie k pochopení kontextu současných integračních a asimilačních tendencí. This diploma thesis deals with comparison of first and second generation Sikhs in Great Britain. It focuses on geographical and historical development of the region of Punjab and single chapters bring the description of the sikhism, sikh lifestyle and the migration process to Britain to enable the understanding of contemporary integration and assimilation tendencies.
