Cílem této práce je zjistit, zda se na českém sázkovém trhu nachází tzv. favorite-longshot bias. Tato hypotéza pojednává o tom, že favorité sportovních utkání vyhrávají v průměru více, než naznačují kurzy vypsané sázkovými kancelářemi, a tedy jsou podceňováni. Abstract:
The aim of this study is to investigate whether there is favorite-longshot bias in the Czech betting market. This hypothesis suggests that sports favorites win on average more often than the odds set by bookmakers suggest, and therefore are undervalued.
