Perception of the Senior Citizen Centres Propagation by Potential Users of the Centres Services

Abstract:

Práce se věnuje tématu sociální práce a média, které je konkretizováno na zjišťování vnímání propagace daného centra pro seniory. Teoretická část se zabývá pojmy plynoucí ze základní výzkumné otázky, jimiž jsou: propagace, stáří a senior jako potenciální klient, centrum pro seniory a vnímání. Výzkum, který je založen na kvalitativní strategii, byl realizován metodou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Jednotkou zjišťování jsou potenciální klienti centra pro seniory. Výsledky rozhovorů byly interpretovány na základě technik zakotvené teorie. Výzkumným šetřením bylo zjištěno, že aktuální propagační strategie daného centra pro seniory neodpovídá informačním potřebám potenciálních klientů. V závěru práce autorka zodpovídá hlavní výzkumnou otázku, uvádí doporučení pro praxi a další výzkum.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is social work and media focused on the survey of perception of the senior citizen centre´s propagation. The theoretical part concerns with the names resulting from the basic survey question: propagation, age, senior citizen as a potential client, senior citizen centre, perception. The survey, based on the quality strategy, was realised with the method of half-structured interviews. The unit of the finding are potential senior citizen clients. The results of the interviews were interpreted on the basis of the anchored theory method. The survey showed that the current promotional strategy of the chosen senior citizen centre did not correspond the informational needs of the potential clients. In the conclusion of the thesis the main survey question is answered, recommendation for practice is offered and another survey is included.
