Iron deficiency anemia in infants and toddlers
Abstract:
Master thesis summarizes information about iron deficiency anemia in infants and toddlers. The theoretical part describes the importance of iron in human body, iron deficiency anemia and nutrition during infancy. The aim of the empirical part was to indentify maternal and child risk factors that could be associated with iron deficiency anemia in children through a questionnaire survey.
Abstract:
Diplomová práca sa zaoberá problematickou anémie z nedostatku železa u dojčiat a batoliat. Teoretická časť popisuje význam železa v ľudskom organizme, anémiu z nedostatku železa a výživu dojčiat. Cieľom praktickej časti bolo pomocou dotazníkového šetrenia zistiť rizikové faktory týkajúce sa matky a dieťaťa, ktoré by mohli mať súvislosť s výskytom anémie z nedostatku železa u týchto detí.
