Comparing Czech dubbing with Czech subtitles of the TV series We Children from Bahnhof Zoo (2021)
Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor is the comparison of the Czech subtitles and dubbing of the 2021 TV show Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo. The theoretical part is devoted to audiovisual translation and its types, with special emphasis on dubbing and subtitling. The empirical part analyses two episodes of this series in terms of text reduction and the use of marked speech.
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá srovnáním českých titulků a dabingu u seriálu Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo z roku 2021. Teoretická část se zabývá audiovizuálním překladem a jeho druhy, blíže se věnuje dabingu a titulkům. Praktická část je věnovaná analýze dvou epizod tohoto seriálu v rámci míry redukce textu a míry užitého příznakového jazyka.
