Assessing observed drought impacts on agricultural crops by intersucho.cz portal respondents

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice sucha, které se objevuje nejen v České republice, ale i po celém světě a sledování jeho dopadů nám přináší podstatné informace o tom, jak se sucho projevuje v krajině a jak výrazné dopady má na různá odvětví. Sucho je monitorováno v rámci projektu Intersucho, kde se ve spolupráci s respondenty sledují dopady sucha v týdenním kroku. Bakalářská práce vyhodnocuje sledované období v letech 2015 – 2021 pro konkrétní plodiny ve dvou okresech: Znojmo a Rakovník. Z výsledné části vyplývá, že nejvíce byla postižena dopady sucha plodina ozimé řepky a nejvíce zasaženým rokem byl rok 2017. Při porovnání hlášení z těchto dvou okresů byl více zasažen suchem okres Znojmo. Hlášení dopadů sucha od respondentů slouží k lepšímu porozumění sucha a jeho dopadům a je důležitou a nedílnou součástí monitoringu sucha.

Abstract:

This bachelors thesis is focused on the problem of drought, which appears not only in the Czech republic, but also all over the world and monitoring its effects gives us essential information about how drought manifests itself in the landscape and how sig-nificant are its impacts on different areas. The drought is monitored as a part of the Interscuho project in which the effects of drought are being monitored every week with the cooperation of the respondents. The bachelors thesis is assessing observed drought impacts on crops for period of the years 2015 – 2021 for two districts: Znojmo and Rakovník. The results says that the winter rape was most affected by the drought impacts out of all observed crops and the most affected year was 2017. The district of Znojmo was more affected by the drought than the district of Rakovník. The reports of drought impacts provided by the respondents are used for better understanding of the drought and its impacts and are important part of the drought monitoring.
