Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma „Využití mentoringu jako nástroje rozvoje zaměstnanců: Hodnocení vybraných aspektů mentoringového programu z pohledu jeho účastníků“ se zabývá evaluací konkrétního programu mezifiremního mentoringu, jehož cílem je předávat zkušenosti a know-how mezi manažery různých společností a rozvíjet jejich kompetence. Záměrem této diplomové práce bylo na základě rozhovorů s účastníky daného mentoringového programu zhodnotit průběh a aktivity programu a jeho vliv na rozvoj pracovních kompetencí. V teoretické části jsou čtenáři seznámeni s jednotlivými odbornými koncepty, které se týkají vzdělávání a rozvoje zaměstnanců, mentoringu jako nástroje rozvoje zaměstnanců a jejich pracovních kompetencí, a také je v této části pojednáno o důležitém prvku práce, jímž je evaluace vzdělávacích programů. Druhá část práce se zabývá definováním a operacionalizací výzkumných otázek a vymezením výzkumné strategie využité v rámci evaluačního výzkumu. V této práci byla využita strategie kvalitativního výzkumu a sběr dat proběhl formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s participanty vybraného programu. Výsledky této evaluace přináší závěrečná empirická část, v níž jsou zodpovězeny výzkumné otázky a v níž je také celkově zhodnocen program i vzhledem k jeho vlivu na rozvoj pracovních kompetencí.

Abstract:

The topic of this diploma thesis “Using mentoring as a tool for employee development: Evaluation of the mentoring program from participants’ perspective” is focused on evaluation of specific intercompany mentoring program, which objectives are to transfer experience and know-how among managers of different companies and to develop their competences. The aim of this thesis, based on the interviews with participants of particular mentoring program, is to evaluate process and activities of this program and its impact on work competencies development. In the first theoretical part, is an introduction of individual professional concepts. These concepts are related to learning and development of employees and to use of mentoring as a development tool for employees and their work competences. The evaluation of the development programs, as another essential part of the thesis, is also discussed in this part. The second practical part is focused on a definition and an operationalization of the research issues and determination of the research strategy, which is being used in the evaluation. This diploma thesis is based on qualitative research strategy. The data were collected in the form of semi-structured interviews with the participants of the selected program. The evaluation results and conclusions, are discussed in the third and final empirical part. In this part, all the research questions are answered and the program is evaluated also from the view of its impact on the work competencies development.
