Communication specifics with a disabled woman in gynecology and obstetrics

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo zmapovat pohled na péči o tělesně handicapované ženy ze dvou stran - z pohledu tělesně handicapovaných žen a z pohledu porodních asistentek. Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou tělesné disability žen, jejich psychosociálním vývojem, rolí porodní asistentky během těhotenství, porodu a šestinedělí. Součástí jsou specifika zdravotnické komunikace s tělesně handicapovanými ženami. Výzkumná část se skládá z výzkumu kvalitativního a kvantitativního. Kvalitativní výzkum probíhal formou polostandardizovaného rozhovoru se dvěma tělesně handicapovanými ženami. Kvantitativní výzkum probíhal formou nestandardizovaného dotazníku pro porodní asistentky, vytvořeného na základě výpovědí tělesně handicapovaných žen.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to map the point of view in the case of care for physically disabled women from two viewpoints - from the viewpoint of physically disabled women and also from the viewpoint of midwifes. Theoretical part deals with characteristics of physically disabled women, psychosocial development, the role of midwife during the pregnancy, childbirth and in the period of puerperium. There are also mentioned specifics of medical communication with physically disabled women. Experimental part consist of qualitative and quantitative research. The qualitative research part was made by the way of semi-structured dialog with two physically disabled women. The quantitative research part was made by questionnare for the midwifes, which was made on the basis of answers of disabled women.
