Jevy pozorované v některých skupinách supravodičů, například kuprátech či supravodičích založených na sloučeninách železa, mohou být vysvětleny koexistencí supravodivosti s jinou fází. V této práci se zabýváme koexistencí supravodivosti s vlnami nábojové hustoty, jež modelujeme pomocí jednoduchého modelu typu BCS v přiblížení středního pole.
