The toponymy of Vranov nad Dyjí with respects to the situation before the year 1945
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na popis současné toponymie Vranova nad Dyjí, reflektovány jsou rovněž německé názvy před rokem 1945. Přestože po tomto roce došlo k vysídlení německy mluvícího obyvatelstva z obce, panuje v toponymii obce kontinuita názvů. Materiál pro analýzu jmen byl získán v průběhu roku 2012 zejména terénním výzkumem, dále pak z tištěných publikací, map a internetu. Neobvyklé je využití …more
Abstract:
The diploma thesis focuses on the description of current toponymy of Vranov nad Dyjí. German expressions used before the year 1945 are reflected as well. In spite of German displacement, there is a continuity of toponyms. Materials for the analysis were collected mainly in a direct field research in 2012. Using geo local technology and web map is considered unusual.
