Kamila Boženková Vedoucí práce: PhDr. Jan Vančura, Ph.D. Katedra psychologie, FSS MU Rok: 2009 Stran: 89 Slov: 26313 Znaků s mezerami: 186827 Osobní asistence je sociální služba, která se rozvíjí v posledních desetiletích především ve skandinávských zemích, v ČR pak několik posledních let. Její vliv na jedince a společnost je zkoumán především se zaměřením na ekonomickou efektivitu pro sociální systém státu nebo na obnovení zapojení klientů osobní asistence a jejich rodin do komunity. Obvykle se jedná o studie s designem kvantitativního zaměření. Prezentovaný výzkum je zaměřen na subjektivní vnímání vztahu s profesionálním asistentem pohledem klienta. Protože spolupráce v tomto vztahu je velmi náročná, zaměřila jsem se na témata konfliktů v tomto vztahu a na to, jaké strategie jejich zvládání a řešení klienti volí. Zvolila jsem kvalitativní přístup. Jako základní metodu sběru dat jsem použila polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Pro posouzení subjektivního vnímání vlastní soběstačnosti respondentů byla použita část vlastního Inventáře soběstačnosti, vyvinutého v předchozím výzkumu. Při zpracování dat jsem použila interpretativní obsahovou analýzu. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 10 těžce fyzicky postižených, kteří využívající osobní asistenci poskytovanou cizí osobou. Výzkum přinesl informace o různorodosti očekávání klientů vůči osobními asistentovi, vnímání závislosti ve vztahu, tématech konfliktů a jejich zvládání. Za nejvíce žádoucí vztahovou kompetenci klienta je považována otevřená komunikace a vyjednávání. Další témata potvrdila pozitivní vliv využívání osobní asistence na různé oblasti života postiženého. Asistent má pro klienta i terapeutickou funkci. Respondenti dále upozorňovali na obtíže při vyhledávání péče a nedostatečné společenské i finanční ohodnocení osobních asistentů.

Kamila Boženková Supervisor: PhDr. Jan Vančura, Ph.D. Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University Year: 2009 Number of pages: 89 Number of words: 26313 Number of characters with spaces: 186827 Personal assistance is a social service which has been developing in the past decades mainly in Scandinavia, with progress in the Czech Republic in the past few years. Its effect on the individual and on society is studied mainly with regard to the economical effectivity on the state's social service or with regard to the intergration of social service clients and their families into the community. The study is usually based on a quantitative design. The presented reasearch is founded on a subjective perception of the relationship with the proffesional assistant from the point of view of the client. Because collaboration in this relation is very demanding I concentrated on the issue of conflict in this relation and on the strategies the clients choose to manage and resolve these conflicts. I decided for the quantitative stance. I chose a semi - structured interview as the basic data acquisition method. A part of the previously developed Inventary of Self - Sufficiency was applied for assesing the subjective perception of the respondents own self sufficiency. When processing the data I used the interpretative content analysis. The studied group was made up of 10 physically disabled clients who make use of personal assistance provided by an unfamiliar person. The research collected information about the diversity of client´s expectations from the personal assistant, perception of dependance in the relation, issue of conflicts and their managing. The most desirable relation between the client and the personal assistant is open communication and negotiation. Other findings confirmed the possitive impact of personal assistance on different areas of a disabled persons life. The personal assistant has for client therapeutical feature ,too. Further the respondents complained about the problems when searching for care and unsatisfactory social and financial evaluation of personal assistants.
