Proposal of Risk-sharing Schema Associated with the Access of Medical Innovations into the System of Reimbursed Healthcare in the Czech Republic
Abstract:
Práce zkoumá možnosti zlepšení přístupu pacientů k inovativním lékům formou dohod o sdílení rizik mezi farmaceutickými výrobci a plátci zdravotní péče. Analyzuje potenciál dohod o řízení vstupu ke zrychlení vstupu inovací na český trh a ke snížení nejistoty plátců ohledně budoucího přínosu nové intervence.
Abstract:
The thesis examines the possibilities of improving patients' access to innovative medicines in the form of risk-sharing agreements between pharmaceutical manufacturers and health care payers. It analyzes the potential of entry control agreements to accelerate the entry of innovations into the Czech market and to reduce payers' uncertainty regarding the future benefit of a new intervention.
