Abstract:

S každým novým dnem naše Slunce vychází a zapadá. Tento děj se rozhodně stal dnes a zítra snad také nastane. Pravidelnost tohoto děje jej činí předvídatelným a spolehlivým. Tuto pravidelnost nazýváme periodicitou a doba, po které nastane opakování tohoto děje, je zvaná jeho periodou. Náš svět je na různých místech protkán periodickými ději o rozdílné povaze. Mnoho periodických dějů lze najít v technických aplikacích např. kmitání lopatek parní turbíny, chod motoru, rotace vrtule letadla atd. A jsou to právě tyto aplikace, u kterých je periodicita požadována. Tato práce se věnuje studiu periodických odezev mechanických systémů s nelinearitami. Uvažujeme tedy známé lineární mechanické systémy, do kterých jsme přidali nelinearity různého charakteru. Takto složené systémy jsou podrobené dynamické analýze pomocí vybraných numerických metod. Stěžejní metodou této práce je tzv. metoda harmonické rovnováhy, která uvažuje řešení nelineárního systému ve formě zkrácené Fourierovy řady. Dalšími používanými metodami jsou metoda střelby a metoda numerické integrace počátečních úloh. Výsledky získané pomocí výše zmíněných metod jsou mezi sebou porovnány, jsou zobrazené jak ve fázové rovinně, tak pomocí rekurentních zobrazení a je rozhodnuto o jejich stabilitě z hlediska periodicity. Spojením metody harmonické rovnováhy a kontinuace periodického řešení jsme schopni vytrasovat kompletní amplitudovou křivku, která pro nelineární systémy zahrnuje i větve řešení, které jsou nestabilní. Tímto způsobem tak můžeme posoudit celkový charakter odezev nelineárních systémů.

Abstract:

With each new day our sun rises and sets. This event has definitely happened today and hopefully will happen tomorrow. The regularity of this event makes it predictable and reliable. This regularity is called periodicity, and the period of time over which the repetition of this event occurs is called its period. Our world is interwoven with periodic events of different nature in different places. Many periodic events can be found in engineering applications e.g. the oscillation of the blades of a steam turbine, the running of an engine, the rotation of the propeller of an aircraft etc. And it is these applications where periodicity is required. This paper is devoted to the study of periodic responses of mechanical systems with non-linearities. Thus, we consider well-known linear mechanical systems to which we have added non-linearities of different nature. Such composite systems are subjected to dynamical analysis using selected numerical methods. The central method of this work is the so-called harmonic balance method, which considers the solution of the non-linear system in the form of a truncated Fourier series. The other methods used are shooting method and numerical integration method of initial value problems. The results obtained by the above mentioned methods are compared with each other, they are represented both in the phase plane and by recurrent representations and their stability in terms of periodicity is decided. By combining the harmonic equilibrium method and the continuation of the periodic solution, we are able to obtain a complete amplitude curve, which for non-linear systems includes the branches of the solution that are unstable. In this way, we can assess the overall nature of the responses of the non-linear systems.
