Correction of hypothermia in intensive care

Anotace:

Diplomová práce se zabývá korekcí hypotermie v intenzivní péči. Teoretická část obsahuje literární rešerše vztahující se k problematice hypotermie v intenzivní péči, rizikovým faktorům a možnostem korekce tělesné teploty. Obsahuje přehled o hypotermii, obranných mechanismech těla, způsobech monitorace tělesné teploty a korekčních metodách. Vyhledání odborných článků probíhalo s využitím odborných databází MEDLINE, Nursing Reference Center plus, SCOPUS, Web of Science. V empirické části diplomové práce jsou popsány výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu, jehož hlavním cílem bylo zjištění povědomí sester o hypotermii, komplikacích a možnostech korekce. Na základě výsledků bylo vytvořeno doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the correction of hypothermia in intensive care. The content of the theoretical part is a literature search for current findings on the issue of hypothermia in intensive care risk factors and possibilities for correcting body temperature. In the beginning of the thesis there is a short overview of hypothermia and the body's defense mechanisms ways of monitoring body temperature and correction methods. The searching for professional articles was carried out using the professional databases MEDLINE, Nursing Reference Center plus, SCOPUS, Web of Science. The empirical part of the diploma thesis describes the results of quantitative research the main goal of which was to find out the awareness of nurses about hypothermia their complications and the possibilities of correction. Based on the results a recommendation for practice was created.
