Strategies of Latin American governments to combat human trafficking

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá strategiemi vlád v Latinské Americe v boji proti obchodu s lidmi. Cílem práce je zmapování strategií a programů států Latinské Ameriky, které jsou užité v boji proti obchodu s lidmi. V literární rešerši práce je představena definice obchodu s lidmi, nejčastější formy vykořisťování, proces obchodu s lidmi a boj proti němu. Další část práce je zaměřena na situaci obchodu s lidmi v zemích Latinské Ameriky. Poslední část práce se soustřeďuje na přijaté mezinárodní smlouvy a konkrétní strategie použité vládami Latinské Ameriky k boji proti obchodu s lidmi.

Abstract:

This Bachelor‘s thesis deals with the strategies of governments in Latin America used in the fight against human trafficking. The purpose of the work is to map the strategies and programs of Latin American countries that are used in the fight against human trafficking. The literature review presents the definition of human trafficking, the most common forms of exploitation, the process of human trafficking and the fight against it. The next part of the work is focused on the situation of human trafficking in Latin American countries. The last part of the work focuses on the accepted international treaties and particular strategies used by the Latin American government to combat human trafficking.
