The Consequences of the Educational Conceptions of Paulo Freire for the Condition of the Oppressed Characters at "Documents From Hell" from Enrique Buenaventura

Abstract:

The objective of this study is discover the consequences of the educational models for the situation of the oppressed characters at the “Documents from Hell”, which sketch a difficult social situation in Colombia in the middle of the 20th century. It was troubled by the bloody conflict between the conservatives and liberals, which caused a high level of the violence and social inequality. The education in this context became an instrument of the control and economical exploitation of the predominant part of the Colombian society. Paulo Freire produced a theory about the situation of the oppressed on the American continent and the function of the education into this context. In front of the banking model of the education postulated the problematical which would reach the consciousness-raising and the consecutive liberation from the situation. The interpretation of his theories results essential for this investigation.

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto práce je zistenie dopadov vzdelávacích konceptov brazílskeho pedagóga Paulo Freire na situáciu utláčaných postáv v diele “Los Papeles del Infierno”, ktoré zachytáva ťažkú spoločenskú sitúaciu v Kolumbii na prelome XX. storočia. Táto bola poznačená krvavým konfliktom o moc v medzi konzervatívcami a liberálmi, ktorý spôsobil vysokú mieru násilia a sociálnej nerovnosti. Vzdelanie sa tomto kontexte stalo nástrojom na ovládanie a ekonomické vykorysťovanie prevažnej väčšiny obyvateľstva. Paulo Freire vypracoval teóriu o situácii utláčaných na latinskoamerickom kontinente a funkcii vzdelania v takomto kontexte. Oproti tomu navrhol vzdelávací model, ktorý mal slúžiť na oslob. odenie utláčaného. Interpretácia jeho diel je preto nevyhnutná pre dosiahnutie cieľa.
