e-government in the context of non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na e-government u neziskových organizací a zabývá se tím, do jaké míry e-government usnadňuje styk neziskových organizací s úřady v žádostech o dotace. Cílem práce je vyhodnotit efektivnost e-governmentu v dotačních řízeních u neziskových organizací v ČR. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část charakterizuje koncept e-government a neziskové organizace. V praktické části je proveden dotazníkový průzkum, který je zaměřen na elektronizaci žádostí o dotace a na dotační řízení Ministerstva zdravotnictví ČR. Dále je provedena komparace dotačních řízení u třech poskytovatelů dotací a zhodnocení spolehlivosti vybraných informačních systémů. V závěru jsou provedena zhodnocení a k nedostatkům e-governmentu navržena doporučení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on e-government in the non-profit-making organizations and it deals with how e-government facilitates contact of the non-profit-making organizations with authorities (offices) in grant applications. The main objective of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of e-government in grant procedure for non-profit-making organizations in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. Theoretical part of the thesis presents concept of e-government and non-profit-making organizations. In empirical part of thesis is carried out a questionnaire survey, which is focused on the electronization of the grant applications and it is also focused on the grant procedure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, there in the thesis is a comparison of grant procedures of three grant providers and evaluation of the reliability of selected information systems. In the end, there is evaluation carried out and recommendations to the deficiencies of e-government are proposed.
