Práce se zabývá proměnou ruské zahraniční politiky od nástupu Vladimira Putina k moci, jako jedné z příčin dnešního vyostření vztahů mezi NATO a Ruskem. The thesis deals with the transformation of Russian foreign policy since Vladimir Putin's accession to power, as one of the causes of today's sharpening of relations between NATO and Russia. Russia's foreign policy is examined through neorealistic theories and its realistic alternatives.
