Abstract:

Ľubica Budayová, Consumer Law in the European Union. Bachelor thesis. Banking Institute / College. Department of Law and Social Sciences. Legal administration in the business. Supervisor: Ing. Kathy Havierniková, PhD. The work is divided into three chapters, which are further subdivided into subsections. Key words of this thesis is the consumer, consumer law, consumer, business obligations, institutional arrangements. Range of pages is 39, where the custom body work with an introduction and conclusion. In this thesis work we have processed the first chapter of consumer law in the European Union. Its historical development, consumer protection, consumer rights and institutional safeguarding consumer rights in the European Union. The second part was devoted to consumer law in the Slovak Republic. Its historical development before the independent Slovak Republic, after its inception and the Slovak Republic's accession to the European Union. Here we analyze, the rights of consumers, businesses and institutional obligation to ensure the protection of consumer rights in the Slovak Republic. The third part is a questionnaire survey, which aims to establish knowledge of consumers about their rights and their exploitation. The aim of our work is to focus on consumer rights, responsibilities in the consumer business in the European Union. Describes the development of consumer law and the changes that have occurred in the Slovak Republic after joining the European Union.

Ľubica Budayová, Spotrebiteľské právo v Európskej únii. Bakalárska práca. Bankovní institut vysoká škola Praha. Katedra práva a spoločenských vied. Právna administratíva v podnikateľskej sfére. Školiteľ: Ing. Katarína Havierniková, PhD. Práca sa člení na tri kapitoly, ktoré sa ďalej členia na podkapitoly. Kľúčovými slovami tejto bakalárskej práce sú spotrebiteľ, spotrebiteľské právo, právo spotrebiteľov, povinnosti podnikateľov, inštitucionálne zabezpečenie. Rozsah strán je 39, kde je vlastné telo práce s úvodom a záverom. V tejto bakalárskej práci sme v prvej kapitole spracovali spotrebiteľské právo v Európskej únii. Jeho historický vývoj, ochranu spotrebiteľa, práva spotrebiteľov a inštitucionálne zabezpečenie ochrany práv spotrebiteľa v Európskej únii. Druhú časť sme venovali spotrebiteľskému právu v Slovenskej republike. Jeho historickým vývojom pred vznikom samostatnej Slovenskej republiky, po jej vzniku a po vstupe Slovenskej republiky do Európskej únie. Rozobrali sme tu práva spotrebiteľov, povinnosti podnikateľov a inštitucionálne zabezpečenie ochrany práv spotrebiteľa v Slovenskej republike. V tretej časti sa nachádza dotazníkový prieskum, ktorý je zameraný na zistenie vedomostí spotrebiteľov o ich právach a využívaní ich. Cieľom našej práce je poukázať na práva spotrebiteľov, povinnosti podnikateľov v spotrebiteľskom práva v Európskej únii. Priblížiť vývoj spotrebiteľského práva a zmeny, ktoré nastali v Slovenskej republike po vstupe do Európskej únie.
