Práce se zabývá tématem Využití aplikací ke zlepšení poslechových dovedností studentů angličtiny se zaměřením na mobilní zařízení. Popisuje teorii v oblasti využití mobilních zařízení pro výuku jazyka (MALL), výuku poslechových dovedností, metakognici a vzdělávací teorii založenou na hrách.
