The Consumer Protection In Online Trading

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá ochranou spotřebitele při nakupování zboží prostřednictvím internetu. V úvodní části se zaměřuje na oblast internetu, jeho historii a využití pro obchodní transakce. V druhé části je zpracována tématika ochrany spotřebitele, její význam a základní pojmy. Třetí část této diplomové práce je věnována právní úpravě ochrany spotřebitele se zaměřením na ochranu spotřebitele při obchodování prostřednictvím internetu - distanční smlouvy, povinnosti podnikatelských subjektů a další. V poslední části jsou zpracována data Evropské komise, která hodnotí vývoj znalostí spotřebitelů ohledně jejich práv.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the consumer protection in online trading. The first section of this thesis focuses on the Internet, its history and its using for business transactions. The second section is dedicated to the meaning of the consumer protection and it also describes its basic terms. The third part is focused on the consumer protection while the consumer makes a purchase via the Internet - the distance sale contracts, the responsibility of the vendor and so on. In the last part of this thesis, there are processed data ot the European Commission that assess consumer's knowledge of their rights.
