Methodology of Reading Skills Development at Special Needs Elementary School.

Abstract:

V teoretické části bakalářské práce je popsána metodika výuky čtení na základní škole speciální a podrobně je rozebrána analyticko-syntetická metoda čtení. Dále jsou zmíněny pomůcky ve výuce čtení, charakterizován je žák s mentální retardací a jsou zjištěny možnosti vzdělávání takto handicapovaných dětí. Empirická část mapuje úroveň a spokojenost s výukou čtení z pohledu pedagogů ve speciálních školách v Jihomoravském kraji. Praktická část zahrnuje pracovní metodické listy ke čtení, podle kterých probíhaly lekce počáteční výuky čtení. V praktické části jsou tyto lekce mapovány a popsány.

Abstract:

The theoretical section of this bachelor thesis describes methods of teaching reading in primary schools for children with special educational needs. In doing so, this part provides a detailed analysis of the analytic-synthetic reading method and mentions aids used for teaching reading. Furthermore, the thesis characterizes pupils with mental retardation and suggests ways of educating these handicapped children. The empirical section examines the level of teaching reading and teachers´ satisfaction with the methods used in primary schools for children with special educational needs in the South Moravian Region. The practical section includes reading worksheets which were used for the initial reading instruction. In this part the lessons are monitored and described.
