Human Resources Management in Hospitality

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je posouzení možností využití vybraných postupů personálního auditu při výběru a rozmisťování pracovníků konkrétního hotelu. Téma Řízení lidských zdrojů v hotelnictví je aktuálním tématem z důvodu rostoucího významu efektivního využívání tohoto faktoru. Teoretická část se zabývá základními pojmy týkající se managementu, hlavními úkoly řízení lidských zdrojů, personálním auditem ve vztahu ke kvalifikaci zaměstnanců a jeho metody, které lze využít při získávání, výběru a přijímání zaměstnanců. V praktické části jsou popsány metody výzkumu v konkrétním hotelu a zaměřuje se na jeho charakteristiku. Dále vystihuje profesiogramy a kritéria pro vybrané pracovní pozice s následnými popisy pracovních míst. Závěr práce obsahuje návrh na strategii výběru a přijímání pracovníků, vytvoření nové organizační struktury se zavedením pracovního místa personalisty a popisy pracovních míst se souvisejícím návrhem na zjišťování kompetencí nových zaměstnanců.

Abstract:

The master´s dissertation is concerned on a review of use of the chosen personal audit procedures according to the selection and space out of the concrete hotel workers. The topic Human Recources in Hospitality is a highly up to date topic thank to growing mean of effective using of that factor. The theoretical part is focused on basic definitions according to management, the most important tasks of human resource management, personal audit based on workers qualification and it´s methods which are used while selecting and admitting of workers. In the analytical part, there are described the methods of research according to concrete hotel and this part of thesis is also concerned on characterizing of the chosen hotel. Further it perceives the professiograms and the criteria of chosen working positions where are the descriptions of working positions included. The resume contains a design of selection and admitting of workers strategy, the creation of a brand new organisation structure considers the adoption of a personal manager working position. Expect for that, it is concerned on a working position description according to a new design of the new workers skills finding.
