The Effect of Freezing on the Enzymatic Activity
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem mrazení na aktivitu enzymů ve vodném roztoku. Jako modelový enzym byl použit enzym halogenalkandehalogenasa DbjA. Vliv zmrazení a rozmrazení na aktivitu enzymu DbjA byl studován bez přítomnosti kryoprotektivních látek. Enzym DbjA byl rychle mrazen v kapalném dusíku na 77 K a pomalu ve směsi suchého ledu a etanolu na 233 K a 253 K. Aktivita enzymu po zmrazení byla …more
Abstract:
The topic if this master’s thesis concerns the effects of the freezing on enzymatic activity in aqueous solution. The haloalkane dehalogenase DbjA was used as a model enzyme. Effects of freezing - thawing on the activity of enzyme DbjA was experimentally studied in the absence of cryoprotective substances under various experimental conditions: rates and buffers.
