Self-therapy issues of lower back pains

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce zpracovává problematiku autoterapie u bolesti dolní části zad. Cílem této práce bylo vytvoření autoterapeutických cvičebních lekcí ve formě videozáznamu s doprovodným komentářem pro lidi s bolestí dolní části zad funkčního charakteru bez neurologické symptomatologie a jejich ověření v praxi. Předkládané cvičební lekce vznikly na podkladě anketního šetření u 100 náhodně vybraných respondentů, ze kterého vyplynulo, že by o takovou formu cvičení byl zájem. Zpracovaný inventář autoterapeutického cvičení byl umístěn na webové stránce a slouží nejen jako podpůrný materiál k domácímu cvičení pro širokou veřejnost, ale také pro fyzioterapeuty a jejich pacienty. Je tak ideálním doplněním práce fyzioterapeuta. Praktické zvládnutí vypracovaného zásobníku cvičení bylo ověřeno u 6 probandů. Toto šetření ukázalo, že největším problémem byla nedostatečná kvalita prováděného autoterapeutického cvičení. Ze získaných informací je patrné, že samotně prováděné autoterapeutické cvičení bez předchozího odborného seznámení s danou problematikou nemusí přinášet požadované výsledky a může případně bolest zad ještě zhoršit.

Abstract:

The presented work deals with the problematics of autotherapy concerning lower back pain. The aim of this work was to create autotherapeutic exercise lessons in the form of video recording with accompanying commentary by physiotherapist for people with lower back pain of functional character without neurological symptomatology and their verification in practice. The presented exercise lessons were made based on a survey of 100 randomly selected respondents. This survey showed that these people would be interested in such form of exercising. The completed autotherapeutic exercise inventory has been placed on a website and serves as a support material not only for home exercise and for the general public, but also for physiotherapists and their patients. Thanks to this, it is ideal addition to the work of a physiotherapist. The practical mastering of the completed autotherapeutic exercise inventory was tested on 6 probands. This study showed that the biggest problem was the lack of quality of the performed autotherapeutic exercises. It is evident from the collected data that the autotherapeutic exercises done without previous professional knowledge of the problematics may not bring the required results and may possibly even worsen the back pain.
