Methods of budget compilation and evaluation on the example of a cost centre

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat současný přístup zvoleného nevýrobního podniku k řízení režijních nákladů prostřednictvím systému plánů a rozpočtů a na základě zhodnocení stávajícího přístupu navrhnout možnou optimalizaci tvorby a kontroly plnění rozpočtu. Teoretická část představuje shrnutí z oblasti rozpočtování, a to především se zaměřením na střediskové rozpočty. Získané poznatky jsou poté v praktické části aplikovány na provedení hodnotící analýzy stávajícího způsobu sestavování a vyhodnocování rozpočtu. Na základě zhodnocení jsou podniku doporučena možná zlepšení v této oblasti.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the current approach of the selected non-manufacturing company to managing overhead costs through a system of plans and budgets and to propose a possible optimization of budget compilation and evaluation based on the analysis of the current approach. The theoretical part of this thesis presents a summary in the area of budgeting, especially with a focus on a cost centre budgets. The acquired knowledge is then applied in the practical part when evaluating the current method of compiling and assessing the budget. Based on the evaluation, possible optimizations in this area are proposed to the company.
