Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou ženských rolí v knize Margaret Atwoodově Příběh Služebnice. První část práce je zaměřena na celkový kontext tvorby Atwoodové. Další část projednává intertextualitu v literární teorii a její klasifikaci. Hlavní část analyzuje intertextualitu v Příběhu služebnice cílicí na ženské role a jejich archetypy. V poslední části najdeme srovnání dvou Atwoodových prací Příběhu služebnice a Penelopiády týkající se intertextuality ženských rolí.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of intertextuality of women’s roles in Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale. The first section of the thesis is focused on the context of Atwood’s work. The following section discusses intertextuality in literary theory and its classification. The main section analyzes intertextuality in The Handmaid’s Tale aiming women’s roles and their archetypes. In the final section, there is a comparison of two Atwood’s work The Handmaid’s Tale and The Penelopiad concerning intertextuality women’s roles.
