The main aim of my bachelor thesis is to analyze the translation of proper nouns in English fiction. Theoretical part of my thesis deals with the translation such itself, as well as the translation methods and procedures. There are also mentioned nouns and phenomenon Harry Potter. Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza překladů vlastních jmen v anglicky psané próze. Teoretická část této práce se zabývá nejenom překladem samotným, ale také překladatelskými metodami a procedurami. Jsou tam také zmíněna podstatná jména a fenomén Harry Potter.
