Drugs Frequently Applied by Youth

Abstract:

Anotace Diplomová práce „Drogy nejčastěji zneužívané školní mládeží“ pojednává o nejznámějších a nejčastěji užívaných drogách mezi školní mládeží. Snaží se poskytnou informace o historii a současnosti drog jako o fenoménu doprovázející lidstvo od nepaměti – především však o jednotlivých drogách. Zároveň jsou v ní uvedeny výsledky výzkumu, mezi žáky základních škol. Teoretická (literární) část práce je zaměřena na dosavadní zkušenosti odborníků o drogové problematice. Tato práce se zabývá 11 nejznámějšími látkami, kterými je mládež často ohrožována, uvádí jejich popis, historii, způsoby aplikace, ale také jejich účinky a příznaky užívání. Práce se také věnuje rizikům spojeným s užíváním těchto drog a charakteristice závislostí, které vyvolávají. Ve výzkumné části provedené na nižším stupni gymnázia a na základní škole v Brně se práce zabývá ověřováním znalostí žáků těchto škol a jejich dosavadními zkušenostmi z této oblasti. Snaží se také odpovědět na otázku, zda v tomto ohledu existují podstatné rozdíly, mezi žáky základní školy a víceletého gymnázia.

Abstract:

Annotation Diploma thesis “Drugs frequently applied by youth” deals with the best known and most used drugs amongst youth. It concerns the history and presence of drugs, drugs as a phenomenon during the history of mankind, and above all, it offers a lot of information about the particular drugs. Besides this, it includes results of the research. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the experience of current drug specialists. There is also a lot of information about the eleven best known drugs, their description, history, the way of application, effects and symptoms of these drugs. It also describes the risks and syndromes of using them. In the final section, there are results of the research amongst the pupils of the elementary and high schools in Brno. It gives us answers to the questions about their experience with drugs and it reveals the difference between the elementary and high school students, concerning the drugs issue.
