This thesis examines the depiction of the Mexican revolutionary nicknamed Pancho Villa in three literary works; El águila y la serpiente by Martín Guzmán, Gringo viejo by Carlos Fuentes and Entre Villa y una mujer desnuda by Sabina Berman.
