Physiotherapy Options of Pes Planovalgus Diagnosis

Abstract:

Pes planovalgus je deformita nohy vznikající v růstovém období. Klinicky se projevuje zejména poklesem podélné klenby nožní a valgózním postavením paty. V teoretické části práce jsou shrnuty anatomické a kineziologické poznatky z oblasti nohy a bérce, je definován pojem nožní klenba a její funkce. Dále se práce podrobněji zabývá problematikou pes planovalgus a popisuje současné kinezioterapeutické postupy používané k léčbě plochonoží a k prevenci vzniku sekundárních změn pohybového aparátu. Praktická část je zpracovaná formou kazuistiky. Porovnáním vstupního a výstupního vyšetření je vyhodnocena účinnost zvolené terapie a aplikace kinezioterapeutických konceptů na jednoho pacienta s danou diagnózou. Výsledky fyzioterapeutické intervence se opírají zejména o snímky z plantografické plošiny Footscan?, kde je graficky znázorněno rozložení tlaku v oblasti chodidla při chůzi a stoji. Díky výborné spolupráci terapeuta s pacientem došlo po čtyřměsíční intervenci ke zlepšení jak posturální funkce nohy, tak dynamické funkce nohy při chůzi a k subjektivnímu zmírnění bolesti nohou i zad.

Abstract:

Pes planovalgus is a foot deformity arising in a growth period. Clinically it is showed by decrease of the medial arch and valgus heel position. Theoretical part of the bachelor thesis summarizes the anatomical and the kinesiological knowledge of the foot and low leg, it defines foot arch with its function. Furthermore, the thesis gives a detalied description of the flexible flat foot - pes planovalgus deformity. It also deals with the current methods and procedures of the kinesiotherapy used in flat feet therapy and in prevention of secondary changes of the musculoskeletal system. The practical part of the thesis is compiled as the case interpretation. The efficiency of the kinesiotherapy is evaluated by comparing the entrance examination with the final examination of a patient with the given diagnosis. Results of the physiotherapy intervention are based on the Footscan pictures, where the pressure distribution of the foot during stand and walk is represented. After four-months intervention there was improvement in the postural function of the foot and in the dynamic function during walking as well as reduction of the back and feet pain.
