This diploma thesis concerns about ethnographical differentiation and changes of Bystřice pod Hostýnem from 18th to 21st century. Town is situated at the edge of area called „Podhostýnske Záhoří“. During the historical development there was permanent mixing of Walachien culture and culture of Zahoří. There was confrontation between town and village kind of life.
