Possibilities of Tourism Development on the Elbe River

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zkoumá Labskou cyklotrasu jako celek. Zaměřuje se na stav Labské cyklotrasy, dále se zaměřuji na její návštěvnost. V neposlední řadě se soustředí na možnosti pohybu handicapovaných turistů na Labské cyklotrase a práci Labské Stezky o.p.s. V praktické části práce jsem zmapoval Labskou cyklotrasu, zjistil, které úseky jsou dokončeny a které ne. Zjistil jsem, na kterých částech Labské cyklotrasy je možný pohyb handicapovaných cykloturistů, jaká je návštěvnost určitých úseků a také které projekty byly během posledních let dokončeny otevřením nového úseku. Cílem mé práce bylo díky zmapování Labské cyklotrasy určit, které její části jsou vhodné pro bezbariérový cestovní ruch a díky výpočtům zjistit, ve kterých krajích je největší návštěvnost a které kraje dělají nejvíc pro její dokončení. Pro zpracování mé bakalářské práce byla největším zdrojem Labská Stezka o.p.s. a statistické údaje Královéhradeckého a Ústeckého kraje. Výpočty jsem provedl pomocí statistických metod, díky kterým jsem porovnával skutečnosti v několika krajích během let. Sekundárním zdrojem mi pak byla literatura a internetové zdroje, které byly spjaty s mým tématem.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis investigates Elbe cycle route as one project that enables wheelchair accessible tourism. The project focuses on condition of Elbe cycle route and on its turnout. In conclusion it focuses on possibilities of using Elbe cycle route by handicapped tourists and on work of Labská stezka o.p.s. In my analytical part I have charted Elbe cycle route and have discovered, which parts of the route are finished and which parts are waiting to be finished. I have also discovered, which parts are available for handicapped tourists, what is the turnout and which projects have been finished during last few years by opening a new part of cycle route. The aim of my bachelor thesis, was to discover, which parts of Elbe cycle route are available for whelchair accessible tourism. Thanks to calculations I discovered in which region of The Czech republic is the highest turnout and also which region is doing the most for finishing its part of Elbe cycle route. My primary source for completing my bachelor thesis was Labská stezka o.p.s., and online statiscical data from Královéhradecký and Ústecký region. I have counted my calculations by using statistical methods to compare real situation in different regions during years. My secondary source were literature and webpages that are attached to my theme.
