The specificity and ideogical basics of peronism in the context of period.

Abstract:

Tato práce se pokouší zmapovat charakter argentinského společenského, politického a ekonomického života v době vlády Juana Dominga Peróna a spolu s tím také vysledovat specificky latinskoamerické či naopak evropské vlivy, které představovaly inspiraci a sehrály významnou úlohu při vytváření peronismu jakožto dominantní politické ideologie v Argentině přibližně od první poloviny 40. let 20. století až do současnosti. K tomu poslouží úvodní exkurz do oblasti odborné politologické terminologie, který by měl vysvětlit některé klíčové pojmy, vztahující se bezprostředně k tématu práce. Následně bude ve stručnosti vylíčena historie kontinentu a především pak Argentiny od doby objevení přes pozdější dlouhotrvající koloniální nadvládu a války za národní nezávislost na počátku 19. století, po jejímž získání země procházela politickou nestabilitou a vojenskými převraty. Teprve poté bude věnována pozornost pokusu peronismus odborně definovat a vylíčit, jaké dopady měl jeho autoritativní a populistický charakter na hospodářství a společnost. Kromě osobnosti a politické kariéry Juana Dominga Peróna v práci zazní také role jeho druhé manželky Evy a současná podoba peronismu/justicialismu v politickém a stranickém systému Argentiny.

Abstract:

This thesis attempts to map the nature of the Argentinean social, political and economic life during the reign of Juan Domingo Peron, and at the same time to trace specifically Latin American or, to the contrary, European influences, which inspired and played an important role in creating peronism as the dominant political ideology in Argentina from approximately the first half of the 40s of the 20th century to the present. The initial excursion into the field of professional political science terminology serves this purpose, as it should explain some key concepts directly related to the topic of the thesis. Further, there is a brief survey of the history of the continent, and especially Argentina, from the discovery to the subsequent long-term colonial rule and war for the national independence in the early 19th century, after the acquisition of which the country went through political instability and military coups. Only after that the attention will be focused on the attempt to define peronism and describe what impacts its authoritarian and populist nature had on the economy and society. In addition to the personality and political career of Juan Domingo Peron, also the role of his second wife Eva and the current version of peronism/justicialism in the political and party system in Argentina will be dealt with.
