Political – business Cycle in the CR

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Politicko-ekonomický cyklus v ČR“ je analýza předvolební politické manipulace ekonomikou, kterou se politici snaží zvýšit své šance na znovuzvolení. První část práce popisuje dosavadní modely a teoretické pozadí výzkumu politicko-ekonomického cyklus. Druhá část se věnuje politickému cyklu v ČR, jako nutnému předpokladu politické manipulace. Následné části se zabývají aplikací teoretických předpokladů na vývoj hlavních ekonomických ukazatelů a nástrojů vlády, představovaných fiskální politikou.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis: “Political – business Cycle in the CR” is to analyze the pre-elect political manipulation with economy by which politicians try to improve chance of their reelection. The first part of the text describes present models and theoretical background of the political – business cycle research. The second part is devoted to the political cycle in the CR, which is represented as a necessary hypothesis of the political manipulation. The following parts are concentrated on the application of theoretical predispositions on the evolution of main economical indicators and government instruments, which are represented by the fiscal policy.
